This March Nor’easter is one that many will remember. Most of the area received anywhere from 1-2 feet of snow.
The official number at the airport actually exceeded 2 feet of snow as of Wednesday afternoon. 16.4″ of snow fell in 24 hours on Tuesday, which was a new record for the day at the Rochester Airport.
Lake effect snow will linger into the first part of tonight before slowly pushing east and winding down after midnight.
Most spots will pick up a few more inches of nuisance snow, but parts of Wayne may see as much as 3-6″ by the time the snow completely stops there on Thursday.
The biggest weather issue this evening and tonight will be gusty winds, creating blowing snow and reduced visibility.
