Your Friday will be a little on the damp and cool side once again with persistent cloud cover, and a persistent easterly wind. It will not be raining every minute of every hour but there will be showery episodes, especially over the Finger Lakes.
Temperatures will likely never get much further than the lower 60’s for highs today in the Rochester area with the mercury stuck in the 50’s in the Finger Lakes for much of the day.
Winds will remain fresh raw and chilly lakeside thanks to that east wind.
The weekend will feature more showery episodes, so make sure that you keep the umbrella on standby especially during the day on Saturday and then again for Sunday afternoon.
Rainfall amounts will be on the order of a quarter to a half inch before all is said and done this weekend.
The bottom line: you’ll need to pick and choose your moments to enjoy some dry time over the next couple of days.
