If you heard a bunch of truck horns going off down by Frontier Field on Saturday, don’t worry it was all for fun!

It was the second annual Kids and Trucks event.

Kids were allowed to explore, blown horns, and climb all over 35 different trucks.

The organizer said they’ve nearly top last year’s total attendees in just one day.

But the event is more than just fun for the family, it’s also a fundraiser for the Children’s Institute.

“This gives us a chance to really provide to the community, and hopefully being a very low cost event the family can really have fun at, and that’s what it’s really all about.” said Dirk Hightower, executive director of the Children’s Institute.

If you missed it today you can head down on Sunday, the event goes from 10 to 3.
