2016’s Top 10 most popular baby names released

The most popular names for babies born in the U.S. for 2016 have been released.

Emma and Noah are at the top of the list again. This marks the fourth year at number one for Noah and the third for Emma, according to the Social Security Administration’s website.

There is only one new name in the top 10 — Elijah.

The popularity of the names, as determined by Social Security Administration data, is based on approximately 4 million births in the U.S. for 2016.
