A local bowler is still getting strikes and spares, even though he’s 102-years-old. News 8 caught up with Tom Pisano at Empire Lanes in Webster. He bowls there every Monday.
Pisano has been bowling off and on since he was in his 40’s. He still averages in the 150’s and has thrown a few series in the 500’s this year.
Pisano says he will keep bowling as long as he’s alive. “I can’t run like I use to, I can’t play baseball anymore so I go bowling,” says Pisano. “I’m just grateful for the lord that keeps me going so I keep going, that’s all I can do.”
Pisano still drives himself to bowling. He’s a 1932 graduate of Franklin High School. He lives in Brighton with his wife of 74 years, Rose.
