Wegmans is once again tied for No. 1 among America’s grocery stores.
The popular Upstate New York chain was matched only by Florida-based Publix, according to a study of 12,774 customers conducted by Market Force Information.
Wegmans weighed in 77% on the research firm’s Composite Loyalty Index, tying it with Publix’s 77.4% (rounded off to account for the study’s margin of error).
Trader Joe’s scored a 75.6% among customers.
Wegmans and Publix supplanted Trader Joe’s during last year’s study.
