Habitat for Humanity puts the final touches on 121 Orchard Street in Rochester

This Saturday, a family will move into 121 Orchard Street in Rochester. Flower City Habitat for Humanity and the Penfield Coalition are putting the final touches on this home.
News 8 staff helped to build the frame of the home last June on Founders Day of Caring. This 1150 square feet home is a single family home made up of  two bedroom, one and half bathrooms and a full basement.
The homeowners will officially move in beginning of June.
According to Flower City Habitat for Humanity, anyone interested in a home must go through an 8 week course, work 300 hours on a home and will have to get a traditional mortgage.
