Friends of running coach Brendan Jackson – who died at the Seneca7 race in Geneva over the weekend – will chalk the Thornden Park Hill for the Mountain Goat Run in his honor on Sunday.
The gathering will be at 6 a.m.
The Fleet Feet coach suffered a “serious medical emergency” during the race.
According to a post on Fleet Feet Sports’ Facebook page, they are trying to keep Jackson’s friends aware of efforts to honor him.
In addition to chalking for the Mountain Goat, Fleet Feet says it is actively planning a memorial run in the next few weeks.
