Rob Tortorella will never forget what happened to him 35 years ago. It changed his life forever.

He says, “Shortly after I graduated from Holy Cross College in 1983, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. I sustained cervical spinal injury that left me paralyzed. All four of my limbs were affected.”

Since then he’s relied on a wheelchair to get him around but he understands moving forward with a disability isn’t always easy. Rob says, “I was fortunate in that growing up I played sports and was always involved in athletic training so that a huge impact on my rehabilitation and my attitude.”

Decades later, Rob is working to help others in similar situations through his foundation “Endless Highway.”

He explains, “Our mission is to provide resources and equipment for disabled children and young adults to allow them to participate in inclusive recreational activities, athletic competition and exposure to the arts.”
