Wegmans’ nationwide expansion is continuing full steam as the grocery chain is set to open its 99th store on Sunday.
The new location in Virginia Beach will open doors on Sunday, April 28 at 7 a.m. at 4721 Virginia Beach Boulevard.
The new 113,000 square-foot store will be open each day from 6 a.m. to midnight and will offer wine, beer, a Market Cafe, and “Burger Bar” restaurant.
Wegmans also plans to open its 100th and 101th store this year (in Raleigh, North Carolina and Brooklyn). This Virginia Beach Wegmans will be the 12th in Virginia.
