Chick-fil-A is highlighting “Keto-friendly” items for its menu.
The diet, which encourages people to eat fewer carbs and more proteins and fats, aims to put your body into ketosis, where you burn fat more efficiently.
The restaurant chain says many of its breakfast sandwiches become Keto-friendly simply by removing the biscuit or muffin.
As for normal entrees, the restaurant recommends:
- Grilled Chicken Sandwich (without bun): 3g net carbs
- Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich (without bun): 3g net carbs
- Grilled Nuggets (eight count): 2g net carbs
- Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken: 10g net carbs
It’s important to note that while the Keto diet offers some potential benefits to followers, researchers warn about eating too many red, fatty, and processed meats with the diet. So, making Chick-fil-A a core part of your Keto diet might not be recommended.
