ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Police are investigating a shooting along Charwood Circle in Irondequoit which sent one man to the hospital Thursday evening.
They believe it happened during a robbery attempt.
Officers were called to the area shortly before 8:00 p.m. Investigators say a 25-year-old man from Webster had been shot multiple times. He was hospitalized and taken into surgery for what police said might be life-threatening injuries.
No one was taken into custody. Charwood Circle remained closed into Thursday evening as a precaution.
