Brennan nets four in dominant victory

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WROC) — The Irondequoit girls lacrosse team wasted no time establishing themselves on a rainy Friday evening. They opened up an 8-0 lead at the half in an eventual 14-2 win over Webster Thomas.

Maeve Brennan led the Eagles with four goals, including an airborne goal in the crease as time expired in the first half. Izzy Geesler found her from behind the net, one of her five assists.

Maddie Verhagen netted three goals in the win, which pushed the Eagles to 3-1 on the season.
