ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An woman is dead after a fire on Garson Avenue Sunday night, according to the Rochester Police Department.
The Rochester Fire Department says they were called to 244 Garson Ave. for a reported structure fire. Upon battling the fire, they found an individual deceased inside. Police say that due to the condition of the body, the gender of the individual was unknown at the time.
On Wednesday, RPD confirmed the deceased to be the resident of the house, 37-year-old Lysandra Bagley.
RPD adds they are still working with the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause and the manner of the death.
