ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The best ads and the worst ads — what did you think?

More than 100 local marketing professionals at Dixon Schwabl gathered Monday morning to give their take on the commercials.

Experts ranked the ads from best to worst and talked about which ones hit and which ones missed their audience.

“I think the ads that are the most memorable are that are super emotional, connect with someone on a deeper level, but also the ones that are lighthearted and funny. In the conversations I’ve had with people, those are the ones that stand out most,” Senior Account Executive Erin Sheridan said.

For the first time in five years — all the ad space for the Super Bowl sold out early, with brands paying over $5 million for a 30 second ad spot.
