SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Sony and RCA Records have reportedly parted ways with R. Kelly, according to Billboard.

The news comes as R. Kelly faces major backlash following the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly,” which details the allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

R. Kelly became part of Sony in the early 1990s and has been under contract at RCA since 2012.
