ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department has responded to a shooting scene on Thurston Road on Monday afternoon.
Officers were called there shortly before 12:30 p.m. for a report of a person shot. They found a 68-year-old Rochester resident with a gunshot wound to his lower body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. Police say his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Thurston Road was temporarily blocked off between Sheldon Terrance and Dunbar Street. It has since reopened.
