Virtual walk for Alzheimer’s research


ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Thousands around the United States are walking for a cure for Alzheimer’s, including here in Rochester.

News 8’s own Maureen McGuire is the volunteer chair of the 2020 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Maureen hosted the virtual opening ceremony on Sunday.

Last year’s walk raised nearly $300,000 with 1,500 participants.
