RGRTA awarded millions in funding

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority is receiving funding to help operate in Rochester.

The $9 million was part of the Federal Cares Act and it will go toward keeping buses moving in the city and surrounding counties during the pandemic.

The RGRTA was given over $36 million in Cares Act Funding in May.
