ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The University of Rochester Medical Center received funding to help conduct a new study.
The $100,000 grant — from the St. Baldrick’s Foundation — will allow researches to study the connection between down syndrome and childhood cancers.
The goal is to develop safer treatments for children with down syndrome who develop leukemia.
