Katrina first joined the News 8 team in October of 2002 as a general assignment reporter. She later became the weekend anchor and anchored News 8 at Sunrise and Noon for 6 years until May of 2013. At that time, Katrina decided to take break from news and focus on raising her two children with her husband John.
In the fall of 2021, Katrina returned to News 8 to help fill-in on the anchor desk. She is thrilled to have the chance to do a job she loves and still spend a lot of time at home with her children.
Katrina has covered many stories during her time at News 8. Some of the highlights include the PGA Championship at Oak Hill in 2003, covering the LPGA at her beloved Locust Hill Country Club, Her series of Go Green reports focused on improving the environment, and covering the visit of President George W. Bush in 2006.
Katrina enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. Skiing, golfing, playing paddle tennis and gardening are some of her favorite activities.
