Jack Watson joined the News 8 team in September 2019. Before his time in Rochester, he spent a summer in Washington, D.C., where he produced policy-based television news reports for WCIA-TV in Champaign, IL. At Syracuse University, Jack anchored a weekly political news show, as well as a live half-hour newscast. A native of the Philadelphia area, he interned with the local FOX station there, where he produced for Syracuse alumna Kathy Orr.

Jack is an avid Scuba Diver and sports fan, and prides himself on being able to tackle any food, even a full garbage plate. He attended Syracuse University and earned a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a minor in Political Science in December 2019.
