
Isabel is an award-winning journalist with more than 10 years of experience in the broadcast news industry. She comes to News8 after seven years at WENY News as an anchor, producer, and reporter covering news throughout the Twin Tiers.
Drawn to investigative pieces, Isabel has covered stories ranging from county-wide legislative issues to human-interest pieces involving rare medical conditions. Most notably, one story uncovered loopholes in Pennsylvania’s tracking system of babies born with addiction and has since led to legislative change at the state level.
Her passion for journalism was fueled by incredible lessons and experiences at Temple University in Philadelphia where she was heavily involved in the student-run production, Temple Update/TUTV. She also won a student Emmy from NATAS-Mid Atlantic for coverage of sustainability efforts at the 2012 Olympics in London.
Above all, Isabel’s favorite title is being a mother to her two beautiful children, Sky & Charlie, and wife to her husband, Josh.
