Adam Interviews

Juan and Maria share their culture through more than just empanadas

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Juan and Maria Contreras feed Rochester from their humble stand at the Public Market churning out around 1,000 empanadas every Saturday.

The two moved from Chile in the 1970s and have been sharing their culture every since.

Turns out, their empanada stop is just one vehicle through which they’ve enriched our area.

Enjoy Adam’s interview with them over a meal.
