ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) -
JUNE RAINFALL: 2.46"
THURSDAY SUNRISE: 5:31 AM
THURSDAY SUNSET: 8:54 PM
A warmer, muggier afternoon is ahead with more clouds along with a shower or thundershower as we head through the afternoon. A cold front will make then its approach on Friday. As that front runs into the warm and humid air that's out ahead of it, showers and a few thunderstorms will develop later in the afternoon and at night. Some of those thunderstorms will contain downpours. A cooler pattern slowly sets up over the weekend and into early next week with temperatures falling back into the 70's. The threat for showers will remain, but any "wash-outs" seem unlikely. Much of the time will be free of rain, which should work out well for the number of outdoor activities and events taking place in our area.
