SEPTEMBER PRECIPITATION: 0.52"
FRIDAY SUNRISE: 6:41 AM
FRIDAY SUNSET: 7:36 PM
Near record cold and a little frosty for a few sheltered valleys south of the Thruway early this morning, but copious amounts of September sun will aid in warming us up to around 70 this afternoon.
The weekend looks better than it did the last few days, as the approaching cold front to the north will stay further away on Saturday. This should ensure us of a mainly dry Saturday with sun fading behind increasing afternoon clouds, and a shower/storm or two possible late in the day, mainly north up near Lake Ontario. Highs Saturday afternoon should be up near 80 with a nice, warming west-southwest breeze. The cold front will move through late Saturday night/early Sunday and produce a few showers/storm, but other than maybe an early shower Sunday we should clear out during the day Sunday with a cooling, gusty north-northeast breeze. Highs to end the weekend will be in the upper 60s to around 70 with lots of afternoon sun expected, which will make for some pretty good weather for the Bills Patriots game at the Ralph. Stay tuned for updates regarding the weekend and the weather for the Bills home opener!

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool, but not as cool as last night.
