Binghamton, NY - Cam Keeley drained five three's and scored 19 points as Fairport eased past Liverpool 69-52 in the Class AA state semis Saturday afternoon in Binghamton.
The Raiders scored the first 11 points of the game and never led by less than seven the rest of the way.
The advantage was double digits the entire second half.
"Playing with the lead, that's when we're at our best." said Fairport senior Dan Masino. "We just came out trusting each other and played with that energy. It was great we jumped out early and kept it there."
Keeley also had ten boards and led everyone on the floor in both rebounds and points.
"It was nice to set the tone and get us going. It put us in control early," Keeley said. "Then it was just a matter of finishing the game like we do so well."
Ryan Algier added 18 for Fairport and Masino scored 16.
Fairport advances to Sunday's title game and will face Mt. Vernon. Tip time for the title game is 2pm.
"I think this team has been pretty focused, they're not settling for sure," said head coach Scott Fitch. "I feel like we're still hungry which is a good feeling to have and I'm glad we're living another day but I kinda of expected it with the way we've been practicing."
