McQuaid climbs out of deficit to roll past Edison

Zamiara dominant with 24 points, 15 rebounds

ROCHESTER - McQuaid trailed most of the game, but the Knights led when it clock hit 0:00, winning at Edison 69-56 on Wednesday night.

Connor Zamiara was dominant in the post for McQuaid, finishing with 24 points and 15 rebounds. His teammate in the back court, Anthony Iglesia, added 18 points and 5 assists that included a perfect 11-for-11 evening from the free-throw line.

Edison led 35-27 at halftime thanks in part to Alton Knight, Tristan Flowers, and Marquan Anderson who each ended the night in double-figures. Knight led the Inventors with 15 points.

McQuaid improves to 8-7 after consecutive wins over Leadership Academy, Fairport, and Edison while the Inventors drop to 6-10.
