Stuewe's OT winner gives Penfield their 2nd straight D1 title

Victor completes undefeated regular season

The Red Raiders led 1-0 after the opening 15 minutes when Justin Ball buried a rebound off a Reese Burek shot from the point.

The Patriots struck twice in the second off the sticks of Jack Schlifke and Bobby Flaherty to take the 2-1 lead.

Burek tied the game up five minutes into the 3rd which forced overtime.

With two minutes left in OT, Mike Nicosia lofted a shot from the point which landed to the right of the net and then slammed how my Connor Stuewe to give Penfield the win.

The Patriots clinch the Division I regular season title for the 2nd straight year.

Orchard Park (VI) 1 McQuaid 6

Brennan Brown scored twice for the Knights as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period.

McQauid's lead grew to 5-0 in the 3rd period as they cruised past their Section VI foe.

Quinn Tata and Tim Brown each had two assists. Peter Campbell and Jeevan Deol both finished with a goal and an assist. 

McQuaid is now 15-3-1 on the season.

Williamsville South (VI) 3 Victor 4

Sam Lambert had two goals and an assist on Mitch Rydzynski's game-winning goal with five minutes left in the 3rd period for the Blue Devils.



Victor finishes the regular season 16-0-4.
