Fairport outkicks Hilton in the final minute

Rochester - Under the bright lights at LeBeau Field, Hilton and Fairport squared off in one of the early season contenders for Game of the Year. Hilton climbed out of a 7-point halftime deficit to tie the game in the 3rd quarter via a Max Chamberlain touchdown from the 1-yard line. 

The 14-14 score wouldn't last long with the Red Raiders retaking the lead on their next possession via an Ethan Davenport rushing touchdown. Fairport failed to convert the point after attempt, making the lead 20-14 Fairport.

Hilton responded with a touchdown drive in the 4th quarter. After getting a 1st and Goal at the 6, the Cadets needed all four downs to cross the goalline before Chamberlain scored again. Hilton made their PAT to take a 21-20 lead with less than nine minutes to play.

Fairport and Hilton traded possessions before the Red Raiders worked the ball into the Cadets territory wieh less than four minutes remaining. With 55 seconds left, Amir Yamount drilled a 40-yard field goal to give Fairport the lead for good at 23-21. Hilton and Fairport are now both 1-1 this season.

Aquinas 42 Batavia 6

The Lil' Irish led 21-6 at halftime and pulled away in the 3rd quarter. Caron Robinson put it away with a 18 yard touchdown run. Batavia sufferers their first loss in the regular season in three years. 

McQuaid 46 East 8

Hunter Walsh threw three touchdowns in the opening quarter to Ben Beauchamp as the Knights are now 2-0 on the season. 

Irondequoit 27 Brighton 14

Freddy June ran in two touchdowns and threw one to Gerald Drumgoole for the Eagles who moved to 2-0 on the season. Shea McDonald had two touchdowns as the Barons fall to 1-1.

Athena 33 Olympia 12

Patrick Meisenzahl threw a touchdown to Jame Sciortino and ran one in the first quarter as the Trojans led 27-0 in the first half. 

Honeoye Falls-Lima 13 Arcadia 0

Tied at 0-0 at halftime, Titans would fumble the opening kickoff of the second half. Off the turnover the Cougars Jack Trvdik scored the go ahead touchdown as HF-L gets the shutout victory.

Monroe 6 Wilson 38

Wildcats improved to 2-0 on the season. James Cotton had a 1st quarter touchdown pass to Jevron Johnson on their way to the win

Leadership 0 Edison 32

Inventors took advantage of a Lions fumble late in the 2nd quarter as they 24-0 at halftime.
