Pittsford Score 3 Times in Final Minute to Win Class A Semi

In one of the wildest finishes produced in Section V this year, the Pittsford girls lacrosse team scored three times in the final minute of regulation to win 10-9 over Webster Thomas in the Class A semifinal at HF-L.

Holly Turner scored the game-winner with 7 seconds remaining on an 8-meter shot. Her last-minute tally capped a hattrick for the senior.

Abi Cullinan scored the game-tying goal with 40 seconds remaining on a rebound off an 8-meter shot. Megan Plain scored with 51 seconds remaining to cut a 9-7 deficit to a single goal.

Allie Panara also had 3 goals for Pittsford.

With Pittsford's dramatic win, the Panthers will take on Penfield in the Class A Final on Wednesday, May 28th at Eastridge at 5:00. This is a rematch of last year's Final which Penfield won 10-9.
