Few teams in Section V feature the resiliency shown by the Pittsford girl's lacrosse team over the last week.

In the Class A Final against defending-champ Penfield, the Panthers rallied from four goals down to tie in the final minute of regulation before winning 10-9 in double overtime.

Last week, it was Holly Turner playing the role of hero with a game-winning goal with 7 seconds remaining to top Victor in the Class A Semifinals. On Wednesday, it was Megan Plain recording the final tally, this time with 3 seconds left on the clock.

The 2014 Class A Final was also a rematch of last year's final. Penfield won on that day by the same 10-9 scoreline.
