Penfield Girls Pull Away From Brighton Late

Jill Vacanti scored a free position shot with just over ten minutes to play that broke a 6-6 tie and started Penfield on a four goal run that sealed a 10-6 win over Brighton on Winton Road Monday night. 

Lyndsay Gamer and Christian Burroughs each scored to quickly made it 9-6 Penfield. Vacanti capped the scoring with another goal in the final two minutes. 

Penfield improves to 10-1 with the win, bouncing back from their first loss of the year against HF-L on Saturday. Brighton fell to 10-2.
