Alan Komorowski drove in Chris Bostick with hits two different times while Ray Kelly allowed only four hits as Aquinas defeated W.T. Clarke 3-1 in the Class A State Final at Broome County Community College just north of Binghamton on Saturday. Komorowski broke a 1-1 tie with his first run scoring hit in the fourth inning and dropped a hard liner just in front of the right fielder for another RBI in the sixth. Kelly allowed a run in the second and then gave up only one more hit the final five innings. He struck out five in Aquinas championship victory. The Lil Irish had beaten Mexico 4-1 in the state semis earlier on Saturday. Jed Lemen pitched a complete game in that win, allowing only one run on four hits.
