Webster Schroeder continues to be the Cinderella darlings of the Class B tournament. The 6th-seeded Warriors thoroughly outplayed 2-seed Hilton in a 4-0 win at MCC in the Class B semifinals on Wednesday night.

The game was scoreless until the second period when Joe Chinelly put home a rebound on a Matt Montgomery shot from the faceoff circle. That goal came at 5:42 to give Schroeder a 1-0 lead.

Less than 3 minutes later, the Warriors struck again, this time it was Montgomery scoring on a Casey Winn helper.

Webster Schroeder doubled their 2-0 lead quickly in the 3rd period. At the 2:39 mark, Jeremy Caulkins scored from the slot on an Alex DeYoung assist. Then, at 3:08, Joe Schuler put the game away with a wicked wrist shot that found the back of the net.

Ryan Beutel stopped all 12 shots he faced to keep the shutout.

Webster Schroeder will face 4-seed Victor in the Class B Sectional Final on Sunday, February 23 at 1:30 from Ritter Arena at R.I.T.
