Rush-Henrietta's defense made a good afternoon awful for Pittsford, recovering two fumbles and grabbing an interception in the fourth quarter as the Royal Comets topped the Panthers 14-13.

Jojo Ortiz was a major culprit for R-H, picking off Pittsford QB Jack Wallman and forcing a fumble with a minute to go that the Comets pounced on to seal the game.

Ortiz also scored the game's first points on a 31 yard touchdown pass from Jared Gerbino in the first quarter. Pittsford tied the game 7-7 before the end of the quarter on a Brandon Barker 4-yard run. R-H went ahead for good in the second quarter on a 2-yard run from Gerbino.

Both teams finish the regular season 5-2.
