Aaron Jackson passed for 107 yards and the first two touchdowns of the game as Cleveland Hill built a 16-0 2nd quarter lead. The Eagles then forced one of their four turnovers and cashed it in two plays later with a Keon Crawford TD run to make it 22-0.

Wayland-Cohocton blocked a punt and scored their first TD on the next play when C.J. Ellis found Darrin Becker over the middle for a 27-yard score. The game was 22-6 at the half. Becker was the Eagles' best receiver with 102 yards and a TD on five catches.

The very next snap ended the game. Thomas took a handoff left and picked up an all-time downfield block from receiver Dan Farinacci, who blocked three different Way-Co defenders on the play. After 80 patient yards, Cleveland Hill had six more points and a 30-12 lead.

Later in the third quarter, Way-Co muffed a punt that rolled into the end zone. Charlie Clark recovered for a Cleveland Hill TD and the rout was on.
