Juwan Beale gave (6)Rush-Henrietta the lead and Chancellor Harris put the game away as the Royal Comets upset (3)Hilton 49-46 in the Class AA1 quarterfinals Friday night at Hilton.

The Cadets led by eight in the fourth quarter, but R-H got their rally started on a Harris three-pointer. Daniel Barley later found Danny Drummond alone inside to cut the lead to one.

With three minutes left, Beale struck from the corner to give Rush-Henrietta the lead for good. Hilton had a chance down a point with ten seconds to play, but Harris stole the inbound pass and broke free for a layup.

Harris was fouled on the play, but missed the free throw. However, Hilton did not have time to get off three point attempt before the clock ran out. It was a 13-2 run for R-H to close out the game.

The Rush-Henrietta stat sheet was incredibly balanced. Beale led the scorers with 11 points and added eight rebounds. Harris scored 10 points while Drummond had nine with 10 boards. Emitt Peters and Bay Barley each added eight points apiece.

Nick Ross topped all scorers with 13 points for Hilton.

R-H moves on to face (7)Bishop Kearney in Thursday night's semifinals at Blue Cross Arena. Kearney slipped past (2)Fairport 47-43 Friday night.
