Caroline joined News 8 in May 2010. She is a Skaneateles native and a graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School and Maxwell School. She has degrees in broadcast journalism and political science.

Caroline is elated to continue working close to home here in New York State. Her start in journalism came as a writer for her hometown paper, The Skaneateles Press, while still in high school. She later interned and worked at 570 WSYR radio in Syracuse as a reporter/anchor from 2001-2002 and was recognized for her work on violence by the Syracuse Press Club.

During college, she interned at ABC News in Washington D.C. and field-produced State of the Union coverage. She also worked as a runner for World News Tonight with Peter Jennings at the DNC in Boston. After college, she battled lake effect snow storms and spent time covering the 10th Mountain Division in Watertown, NY, at WWNY-TV as a reporter, and fill-in producer/anchor/weather anchor. During her time at 7 News, Caroline received a New York State Broadcaster's Association award for Outstanding Spot News for her coverage of a police standoff.

Caroline will tell you that she is a 'foodie' at heart and spends a lot of time photographing food, eating it, and cooking. She was an extra on the hit CBS show "How I Met Your Mother" and has competed in the World Rock Paper Scissors Tournament and several ballroom dance competitions.
