P.F. Chang's China Bistro serves up casual Chinese food at more than 200 restaurants across the U.S.
It includes the spot at Eastview mall in Victor.
"Once a month, once every few weeks my girlfriend and I like to go there it's good food," said Rob Enfield, a customer
Rob Enfield enjoyed a nice dinner on Monday, June 9 – a day before the restaurant discovered a security breach where credit and debit card information was stolen.
" It's the world we live in today, people are always trying to get a hold of your information and you have to be extra cautious and careful, it's definitely concerning for sure," said Enfield.
CEO Rick Federico released a statement saying that they immediately initiated an investigation with the secret service and forensics experts.
“At P.F. Chang's, the safety and security of our guests' payment information is a top priority. Therefore, we have moved to a manual credit card imprinting system for all P.F. Chang's China Bistro branded restaurants located in the continental United States. This ensures our guests can still use their credit and debit cards safely in our restaurants as our investigation continues.”
Rob plans to go back for dinner but he plans to pay a different way.
"One thing we may do is just take cash with me instead of using my credit card, if it's happened once, it could happen again, you never know," said Enfield.
P.F. Chang's China Bistro has posted information on its website about the investigation.
