It's early morning at Livonia High School. Senior Kirstie Mosher begins her day doing what she loves best, singing. This stellar student immerses herself in music, from the school choirs to the school musicals. She also takes lessons at the Eastman Community Music School and the Rochester Broadway Theater League. "My dream career would be to just travel the world and sing for people!" she says.
Kirstie's accomplishments are setting her up for a bright future. For two years in a row, she was selected to sing solo in Conference All State. "I think she has what it takes to make it in music, not only in education but also in performance," says Sarah Whittel, Choral Director for Livonia Schools. "Because she has the musicianship. She has all the skills you need outside of just having a pretty voice."
Best of all, Kirstie shares her talent. This gifted singer plans to study vocal performance in college with a focus on music education and therapy.
