A judge has ruled they can proceed with their lawsuit against the team. The Buffalo Bills wanted the lawsuit to be dismissed, but a judge denied their request. The suit claims the organization failed to pay the cheerleaders proper wages and subjected them to humiliating situations. The Bills have leased out the Buffalo Jills since 19-86. However, the lawsuit alleges that the team still plays a role in managing and controlling the cheerleading squad's activities.
