Sabres owner Terry Pegula has reportedly offered over a billion reasons why he should be the next owner of the NFL franchise.  Tuesday was deadline day for bids on the team, and three were made.

The New York Post reports Pegula submitted his bid by Tuesday's deadline, and it tops $1 billion.  There is speculation that a group from Toronto's bid may also top $1 billion.  That would be a record sale price for the NFL.

Donald Trump also submitted a bid.  However, Tom Golisano has not submitted a bid at this time.
