Rochester City School students showed off their hard work at the school of the arts today as part of the Summer Scholars Program.  The fourth grade students spent the summer catching up on math and english but they also learned things like drumming and rock climbing.
Today they put on a show for their parents.  It had the theme of solving mysteries.  Jacob Rohan, the Coordinating Director, said, "With that thematic unit going across the curriculum, the students were very motivated in the morning as much as they were in the afternoon, when they're participating in their swimming lessons and their fun-filled activities."

Students who especially enjoyed their rock climbing or drumming lessons will be able to continue those studies through the school year thanks to partnerships with Rockventures and Bush Mango.
