The Harter, Secrest and Emery Law Firm put on a "mock trial" play for kids from Rochester Schools #4 & #29 at the Memorial Art Gallery today.  The case was based on the plot of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears,"  and was a mock poisoning case lawsuit.  A student jury decided the case, and they decided that the three bears were not responsible for Goldilocks eating mamma bear's poison porridge.

"These are kids who probably don't understand, or appreciate yet that there is a way to resolve disputes we have with each other in society. Neighbor to neighbor or over a contract dispute, possibly a negligence going to court, pleading your case, and having a jury decide," said play author Tom Smith.

Staff and attorneys from Harter, Secrest and Emery made up the cast of the mock trial play.
