Even before the sun came up this morning, Red Cross volunteers were helping victims of the massive storm in Penn Yan.  Volunteers set up shop inside Penn Yan academy.  That's where they are housing at least three people who've lost everything.

The damage throughout the village of Penn Yan was devastating: sidewalks torn up, cars engulfed in mud.  Volunteers say there's still a lot to be done.  Colleen Kean of the Red Cross said, "This is day two of the cleanup I've noticed since the start the amount of debris a significant amount of cleanup."

If the village experiences more rain and flash flooding, their shelter will remain open for anyone who needs help.

Here's the information for the Red Cross if you would like to help.
