Pittsford High School's crew team raised money for charity stroke by stroke.

Students set up practice machines at Eastview Mall on Saturday and rowed for one hour all to raise money for Golisano Children's Hospital. It's the 7th Annual "Crew for Kids" event. Students modeled the event after a national program called "Row for Humanity."

"For us it's just about motivating other people to show that you can raise money and you can volunteer and do this for other people because it's all for a good cause," Pittsford senior Lindsay Snodgrass said.

Last year, students raised close to $10,000.
