Governor Andrew Cuomo cracked down on reckless drivers today by signing a bill authorizing New York City to lower its speed limits from 30 to 25 miles per hour.
The Governor is calling it a complimentary bill that will work together with other laws to make the state's roadways less dangerous.
"We have seen too many injuries and deaths as a result of traffic accidents," said Governor Cuomo. "This legislation will be yet another step in our efforts to make New York's streets safer for all."
