Golfing for a cure: KM Memorial Golf Tournament
There's a special fundraiser coming up in honor of Kathleen Mrzywka. Kathleen was a social worker who worked with crime victims and counseled jail inmates. She died of brain cancer in April 2012 and those who loved her continue to raise money for cancer research. Kathleen's son, Mike, established the KM Memorial Golf Tournament in her honor and to help Wilmot Cancer Center continue to pursue a cure for this devastating illness. The first tournament was held just four months after her death. The third tournament will be June 22, 2014 at Mill Creek Golf Club in Churchville. The event includes shuttle service from Rochester, prizes, lunch and dinner. For more information, visit the KM Memorial Golf Tournament webpage. Click here.
