A fight broke out outside of the Roland Williams football camp today at Charlotte high School.  RPD told News 8 a total of six kids were involved in the skirmish.  These were not kids that were part of the football camp program.

After today's incident, Roland Williams released this statement:

“There was a minor disruption today caused by a few individuals from outside the Champion Academy and it was quickly resolved by the Rochester Police Department, Pathways to Peace, and Rochester City School District security.

The Champion Academy has been a groundbreaking success for more than 400 young men, who have experienced nine days of success and collaboration, including a volunteer Clean Sweep project in the city on Saturday. We are excited about these students and their future and are proudly working toward their graduation ceremony this Friday evening, as well continued success in this initiative.”
